Holly grew up in a musical family which was a catalyst to her pursuing dance. She choreographed and performed her first solo routine at age 12. After encouragement from friends, she decided to give formal jazz dance lessons a try. There she learned to grow as a dancer through feedback from the class and her instructor.

Bellydance became an interest of Holly's after seeing a bellydancer at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival in 1998. Soon after, she started taking American Cabaret style bellydance classes and began performing also.

A few years later, she took a break from dancing, got married and had 2 kids. After concentrating on her family for a few years, it didn't take much prodding from a friend to start bellydancing again.

At this point, Holly began classes with Susie Ali of Kansas City as well as became a member of Susie Ali's troupe Chocolate Scizzors where she is still a member.

Holly continues her studies with Suzie Ali as well as with Marie DeMars of K.C. who introduced her to the Tribal Fusion style of bellydance.

Holly's style is a fusion of many styles of bellydance with a strong emphasis on the Tribal Fusion style. Ashara and Rachel Brice are also especially influencial to Holly's style. Holly is a versatile dancer as well as a dynamic entertainer who enjoys performing solo and in groups.
